I am a BOP girl who was born and bred just down the road on a farm near Whakatane, growing up in a competitive sporting mad family where any sport went and being the best was always my aim. A career in physiotherapy was decided at a young age due to many sporting injuries and the attraction of working with people in aiding their return to function and achieving their goals. I graduated from Auckland university of technology in 2007 with my bachelor of health science, Physiotherapy. From there I returned home to work at the Whakatane hospital where i completed my junior rotations, then finding my place in the musculoskeletal outpatients.

After working there for 9 years my family and i made the move to Tauranga to progress my career and make the move into private practice. I have done some work with local college rugby and senior netball, and look forward to progressing my career in this area with foundation. I am currently studying towards my Masters of health practice through AUT, and aim to complete this at the end of 2018. I love being a physiotherapist and helping my patients achieve the best possible outcome, working towards their goals and aiding in their return to function.

When im not working or studying im spending time with my family enjoying the outdoors and making most of life in the bay.
I am looking forward to working with the great team here at foundation, working with patients to help achieve their full potential and the ongoing learning and development in the physiotherapy profession.
