Megan, who is originally from Scotland, now calls beautiful Mount Maunganui home and lives with husband Zane and baby Arabella. Megan qualified as a physio in Scotland in 2007 and completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2013. Megan has a background in elite sport and has been working for High Performance Sport New Zealand for the past 4 years mainly in swimming but has vast experience working with athletes and teams from all sports. Megan's career highlights include attending the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. Megan currently tours with Swimming New Zealand and Paralympics New Zealand. Megan is qualified in acupuncture and Pilates. She focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, education and works closely with gym staff and other health professionals to ensure the best outcomes and management plans for each individual or team.

Megan enjoys the great outdoors and can regularly be seen carrying Bella up the Mount, hanging on the beach and in the surf or frequenting the many multi-sport events held in the bay.
