Raised in the mighty Manawatu by a fanatical sports family, I decided to base my career around my passion for physical activity. I graduated from Otago University in 2011 with Distinction in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and have been based in the musculoskeletal setting since. I then went on to gain a Certificate in Western Acupuncture in 2012, and a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy in 2016. I have been fortunate enough to have experience working with Premier Rugby Teams in Otago and the Waikato, Te Puke Sports Premier Rugby Team, NZ U18 World School’s Seven team, NZ U20 Maori All Blacks, Manawatu Women's Sevens, BOP Women's Rugby, NZ age group indoor Volleyball, NZ Masters Volleyball, Inside Running Rugby Academy, National swimming athletes and NZ jockeys.
I love being a physio. I strive to deliver a comfortable friendly experience, whilst helping clients achieve their own personal goals. I am enthusiastic about all facets of sports rehabilitation and relish a challenge. My main areas of interest are sports-related concussion, and lower limb injuries.
People are my passion so in my free time I enjoy participating in team sports, and spending time with friends, family and child Jacob. I particularly love volleyball, running, touch and any water-based sport.
My main areas of interest are complex sports injuries, in particular running injuries and working with our young talented athletes to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.
