Hand Therapy is coming to Foundation!

Referrals can be made from January 2020 with appointments available from the beginning of February.

Providing a specialized assessment and treatment service for any injury or condition of the hand, wrist and elbow, hand therapy commonly works with:

  • Finger and thumb sprains, dislocations or fractures
  • Fractures of the hand
  • Rehabilitation following fractures to the wrist, forearm or elbow Wrist sprains
  • De Quervain s tenosynovitis
  • Athritis of the hand and wrist
  • Tennis elbow
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome and other peripheral nerve conditions.
  • Post operative rehabilitation for a variety of conditions - both under ACC or private including tendon repair, dupuytren s release surgery or joint replacement surgery.

Graduating in 2000 as a Physiotherapist, Nicola is a registered hand therapist who is passionate about providing an excellent service to ensure her patients achieve the best outcomes from treatment.
