Speed Climbing

I’ve been Rock Climbing since I was 10 years old. Up until the start of 2022, I was a boulder and lead climber, competing in national competitions, and achieving many NZ titles. I also competed in two Youth World Championships. In the last 2 years, I have switched my focus to concentrate just on Speed Climbing. In 2022 I came second in the Australian Youth Nationals in the speed event. This year I have competed in multiple Open World Cups, including making the finals at the Salt Lake City World Cup final in the USA!

Along with my sport, I am also very passionate about the environment. In a couple of years I aim to become a Ranger with the Department of Conservation, so I can help protect and restore our native ecosystems
