Ellie Hulsebosch

Who are you?
My name is Eliana (Ellie) Hulsebosch, I am 15 years old. I go to school at Aquinas College in Tauranga. I love adventures with my family and friends and trying new things whether that is food (my favourite thing) or exploring new sports and places. I enjoy school and making the most out of opportunities.

What sport do you compete in?
I compete in mountain biking. I like all the disciplines; cross country; enduro; and downhill, but my favourite is the adrenaline rush you get from downhill with the hard, fast and technical features.

What do you love about your sport?
I love the challenge of different features and pushing myself and my ability. I enjoy being a part of such an awesome community!

What are your goals for the next few years?
My goals for the next few years are to continue to build my skills in mountain biking with the dream to race in the UCI Downhill World Cup, starting with juniors in 2024/2025.

Highlight of her young career: 2nd overall for U17 female MTBNZ DH Series, 1st U17 and 3rd Overall female for 3 Peaks Enduro, Dunedin and 2nd overall female at the 2W Enduro series in Rotorua
