Clare specialises in concussion and vestibular physiotherapy, bringing over 10 years of diverse physiotherapy experience to her practice. Graduating from AUT in Auckland, Clare began her career as a sports physiotherapist for the Institute of Sport before moving to Auckland Hospital, where she worked for five years in critical care, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, vascular, and respiratory wards. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the challenges patients face before they arrive for treatment.
Originally from Turangi, Clare returned to Taupo and has since focused on treating patients with concussions and vestibular disorders. She also provides care for a wide range of sports injuries and general physical concerns. A former snowboard instructor both locally and abroad, Clare understands the importance of comprehensive rehabilitation plans for recovery and performance enhancement.
A fitness enthusiast, Clare is passionate about helping patients achieve their fitness and wellness goals. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding with her family in winter, and mountain biking, paddle boarding, camping, and spending time outdoors in summer. You might also spot her skateboarding along the Taupo waterfront with her two young boys.
