Laura Tuxford

Laura is one of our dedicated hand therapists who began developing her interest in this field while working in community and residential roles in Australia. In 2015, she graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of the West of England, Bristol. Laura has extensive experience working for Sussex Community Foundation Trust in Brighton and Hove, England, where she gained valuable skills in an acute hospital setting across various wards, including accident and emergency, respiratory, rehabilitation, and major trauma.

Laura has also worked as an associate hand therapist in Palmerston North and is excited to continue her hand therapy journey at Foundation Clinic, Taupo. In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking, exploring the beautiful New Zealand countryside, and spending time with family.
